So I tried to do some early voting last week, but when I went to the voting place they couldn’t find me in their system as a registered voter, even though I am registered and even voted in the last presidential election.  So oh well.  I live in Texas, forever a red state, so I figured my Obama vote would be an empty, though not necessarily meaningless, gesture.

If I was really gung ho about voting, I would make a bigger deal about this, but I really don’t care about politics that much and I’m pretty tired of being bombarded by the various presidential campaigns for the last two years that I just want it to be over with already.

At least I can say I tried.
