Wow, ‘Heavenly’ actually got some press.

In my efforts to be on top of all things ‘Heavenly’, I came across a glowing review for my comic from one Jeffrey Littleton on his LiveJournal blog entry here.  He writes in his second paragraph, “Nic just launched a web comic (www.heavenlycomix.com, I recommend everyone check it out, it’s pretty funny)”.  Glad you liked it Mr. Littleton!

However, he does have some criticism concerning my writing skills and methods.  In his entry, Mr. Littleton makes evident that he feels that a writer need not be concerned about questions addressing tone or mission statements or originality in one’s work.  I must politely disagree because I feel that if a writer is not concerned about tone, mission statements, or originality then he is no writer at all. I could be wrong about this, and I normally am, but hey, we can’t all be perfect, right?

So we have our first review, and it’s positive, so I’m happy.

‘Heavenly’ readers, you guys should check out his blog ‘Just Another LJ‘ (which is really a great, post modern title for a Live Journal blog), it updates on average twice a year, so try not to miss out on all of the great content there.

And for those people coming to this site from Mr. Littleton’s Live Journal, I welcome all four of you with open arms (I just hope my web hosting provider can handle the increased bandwidth (*fingers crossed*)).
